Becoming British

(is it becoming to look British?)

Robbie visited me in London and he seemed to have fun meeting interesting people.

So I tried to meet some locals and join in the fun.▼

The British seem to have a "different" sense of humor

and did not appreciate my efforts to participate.

I went to a football match between two top teams, Arsenal Cannons and Everton Toffees, bitter rivals for over 100 years.  The Arsenal team started as a team from a factory making artillery and the Everton team was from a candy factory.

Fans of Everton, the visiting team, were required to sit in the area known as "the cage," separated from Arsenal fans (infamous soccer hooligans) by a fence and scores of police.  It is actually illegal for a spectator seated in the home section of the stadium to cheer for the visiting team and such behavior results in immediate arrest.

Stupid actions by stupid fans result in stupid laws.

◄◄I heard Carmina Burana performed at Royal Albert Hall

with a 400 voice chorus.
